The Serpong Culinary Festival was held at Summarecon Mall Serpong from August 8th until September 8th, 2019. Visitors enjoyed a variety of Sumatran culinary dishes at this ‘Pesona Bumi Andalas’ (Enchantment of the Andalas) themed festival, ranging from nasi kapau, martabak medan, pempek, padangnese satay, mie celor and various other dishes, accompanied by the Sumatran rhytm and songs.

Willy Effendy, Summarecon Mall Serpong Center Director, said that they hope the festival not only satifsy ones longing for traditional food, but also adds insight and responsibility in preserving Indonesian culture, not only through its culinary richness but alsi by introducing a variety of traditional art and culture.

The festival is held everyday, Monday through Thursday from 4PM until 10PM, Friday on 2PM until 11PM, Saturday on 11AM until 11PM, and Sunday on 11AM until 10PM.
In addition to the delicious food accompanied by music and dance, this festival also has Sumatran themed decoration making visitors feel like they are actually in Sumatra.
